80 - Leipzig-Dessau

In less than ten days back to Germany, this time in Leipzig. I have been searching nearby buildings and it seems that a great variety of them: the BMW plant designed by Zaha Hadid, the architect Art Museum Hufnagel Pütz Rafaeli, a sports hall of Schulz & Schulz, the Convention Center Von Gerkan , the headquarters of the "Leipziger Volkszeitung. ... To this we add the church of Santo Tomas, which Juan Sebastian Bach was responsible for children's choir ("Thomanerchor"), the largest student club in Europe, "Moritzbastei" ... And as I am about take the opportunity to visit some of those buildings which have always liked me. It is the seat of the Bauhaus in Dessau by Walter Gropius. For those who do not know, to be few, if any, and for which I know too, can be downloaded from emule " Architecture - Walter Gropius - Le Bauhaus Dessau - Documentaire Arte (Xvid). avi " a documentary which examines the building perfectly. If anyone has any recommendation is the time to get rid of it .

When it comes to large buildings usually think of skyscrapers located in American cities, Asian, or closer as Frankfurt. This nickname also associate civil engineering construction farther away from the residential types. It is less usual to label a residential building and only six plants between them. Located in the town of Prora, located on the island of Rügen in northern Germany along the Baltic Sea. It was built between 1936 and 1939 by the German Nazi organization KdF as vacation retreat for 20,000 people and was designed by Clements Klotz. Is 5 kms, with rooms from 5x2, 5 meters and each enjoys a view over the ocean. Each bedroom had two beds, a wardrobe and a sink, toilets and showers were common. During the existence of the GDR was closed to the public for their exclusive use by the armed forces and never came to be used for its original use.
