I could not very well determine whether the contemporary Japanese architecture is coming to the West or is it just the opposite. What is clear is that the production of architects such as Akira Sakamoto seems more typical of the style of someone born on the shores of the Mediterranean than someone from the Far East. Here on their website we can find most of his works, which include their homes, which would highlight among other details that achieved both natural lighting artificial achieved in all cases.
